Recently, Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee has approved the construction zoning plan (scale 1/2000) of Khai Luong Mountain Tourist Area with a total area of over 4,000 hectares.
The planning area is the entire area of subdivision 2 in the project to adjust the general construction planning of Van Phong Economic Zone to 2040 and vision to 2050.
The total area of the planning area is over 4,000 hectares in Van Thanh commune, Van Ninh district. Of which, the mainland area is over 1,865 hectares and the sea surface area is over 2,150 hectares.
In terms of nature, this is an eco-tourism - resort area. It is forecasted that the land area for construction of functional areas will be about 407.75 hectares; the agricultural land and other functional areas will be 1,457.25 hectares.
