Cam Lam new urban area of over 10,000 hectares approved for investment policy

The Prime Minister has just decided to approve the investment policy of the Cam Lam New Urban Area project. The project is located in Cam Lam district and Cam Ranh city, with a land use scale of more than 10,350 hectares and a population of about 584,000 people. There will be more than 100,000 houses and villas; 9,820 apartments; more than 33,000 social houses; 36-hole golf course. The project has a total investment of more than 260,000 billion VND (excluding compensation and resettlement support costs of 25,000 billion VND).

In addition, the project must change the purpose of using more than 80 hectares of forest; the operation period is 50 years from the date of land allocation decision. The implementation progress is from 2025-2037 and investors are selected by bidding.
The project's goal is to develop new urban centers in Cam Duc town associated with the urban center axis; administrative - political centers of the entire urban area and finance - trade - services, international cultural exchange; Regional training, research and innovation center.
This is also the area where the population and main activities of the entire urban area are concentrated, the western gateway - the main gateway of the new urban area of Cam Lam; cultural - sports center; urban development area - concentrated residential area...
According to the plan, Cam Lam district will be a modern airport urban area, a key point for sea tourism and logistics, aiming at the southern growth pole of the province and the South Central Coast.
