On August 30, Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee organized the Khanh Hoa Provincial Cultural Conference 2024, summarizing 10 years of implementing Resolution No. 33-NQ/TW dated June 9, 2014 of the Central Executive Committee (term XI) on building and developing Vietnamese culture and people to meet the requirements of sustainable national development.
In the report "Promoting cultural values, the strength of Vietnamese people, building Khanh Hoa province into a centrally-run city", Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Tan Tuan stated that in recent times, the province has focused on developing culture in a sustainable direction, doing a good job of preserving and promoting cultural heritage values associated with traditional education, focusing on developing cultural and historical resources.
Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee issued Resolution No. 34-NQ/TU dated December 22, 2023 on promoting cultural heritage values associated with sustainable tourism development in Khanh Hoa province until 2025, with a vision to 2030.
According to Mr. Tuan, this conference discussed the contents, proposed breakthrough tasks and solutions, creating new positive changes in building Khanh Hoa culture and people in the new period.
One of the solutions is to implement the national value system in the new period in Khanh Hoa province.
Those value systems were identified by General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong at the National Cultural Conference to implement the resolution of the 13th National Congress of the Party.

Mr. Tuan cited that hundreds of years ago in the book Dai Nam Nhat Thong Chi, it was commented that "Khanh Hoa has a simple and honest customs... The scholars are simple and calm. The people are frugal and kind".
Therefore, when implementing the construction and development of national value systems in the conditions of Khanh Hoa province, it is necessary to supplement, create and promote the cultural values and typical qualities of the Khanh Hoa people "gentle and honest..." to create a driving force for the development of Khanh Hoa province.
That is also to realize the goals of the province set out in the resolutions of recent Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Congresses, which are "building Khanh Hoa province as a livable locality, with values and standards of civilization, friendliness, hospitality, gentleness, happiness, and honesty".
