On August 30, Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee held the Provincial Cultural Conference in 2024, summarizing 10 years of implementing Resolution 33 of the 11th Central Executive Committee on building and developing Vietnamese culture and people.
This is the first time Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee has organized a conference to discuss cultural issues on a large scale, with a large number of delegates representing from villages, residential groups to the provincial level; from managers, experts, scientists to the business community operating in the fields of culture, arts, and tourism.
Mr. Nguyen Tan Tuan, Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee, said that there are many lessons learned when implementing Resolution 33 in the locality. In particular, it is necessary to fully, thoroughly, and comprehensively understand the Party's viewpoints on building and developing culture and people; In building culture, the focus is on building people with good personalities and a noble lifestyle... It is necessary to pay attention to consolidating, perfecting and stabilizing the cultural apparatus; promoting training and fostering and having appropriate policies for the team doing cultural work. In addition, it is necessary to promote the implementation of the movement "All people unite to build a cultural life" and the campaign "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas". This is both a task and a solution to build a cultural environment, develop a spiritual cultural life that permeates all aspects of social life...

Concluding the conference, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Khac Toan affirmed that culture as a resource and endogenous strength, contributing to promoting socio-economic development, improving the material and spiritual life of the people, plays an extremely important role in implementing this historic task.
In the coming time, the Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee has proposed 7 specific tasks and solutions. In which, priority is given to implementing the national value system, cultural value system, family value system and Vietnamese human standards in the new period in the locality.
Of the 4 elements, the national value system, family value system and Vietnamese human standards are the "hard" elements common to the whole country; The cultural value system is a "dynamic" element, which is both common to national and ethnic cultural values but also has its own unique features and identity.
Khanh Hoa province is interested in investing in and building cultural, sports and educational institutions in line with planning and land use plans associated with the orientation of Khanh Hoa becoming a centrally-run city, especially large-scale cultural institutions, creating momentum for the cultural development of the province such as the Provincial Museum, Yersin Museum, Truong Sa Museum...
Khanh Hoa identifies Nha Trang City as the core urban area of the province, the center of a centrally-run city in the future, and needs to promote the development of the cultural industry, becoming a place to organize high-class events of national and international scale. Nha Trang City is studying to participate in the UNESCO Creative Cities Network.
Dien Khanh Citadel will be restored in the near future
Dien Khanh District needs to promote the construction of ecological urban areas and traditional culture, coordinate with relevant agencies to actively accelerate the implementation of the Dien Khanh Citadel relic restoration project.
Develop the Khanh Son and Khanh Vinh mountain and forest ecological sub-urban areas in association with promoting cultural identity and indigenous resource values, so that cultural identity becomes a positive factor in sustainable poverty reduction among ethnic minorities and mountainous areas.
Truong Sa District must be a model for the whole country in developing culture and society at sea in association with firmly protecting the sovereignty of the sea and islands of the Fatherland.
