Nha Trang Stone Church is also known as Nha Trang Mountain Church because it is built on a small mountain in the coastal city.

The project is considered an architectural masterpiece, contributing to the urban face and marking the formation and development of the coastal city of Nha Trang. The stone church is located on a small Hon Mot hill next to Nga Sau, the center of Nha Trang city, with an area of ​​about 4,500m2 at an altitude of 12m above the city level.

Nha Trang stone church has the official name: Christ the King Cathedral, this is a large Catholic temple, located in Nha Trang city, Khanh Hoa province. The highest point of the church is where the Cross is placed on top of the bell tower, 38m high from the road surface. Each tower has 4 doors facing East, West, South, and North. But only the East door is open to pilgrims and extends to the lobby. The remaining 3 doors are shaped like fake doors. Ponagar Tower is not only an interesting tourist destination but also a favorite destination for Nha Trang people with religious beliefs about its sacredness.

Dr. Alexandre Yersin's workplace was built about 100 years ago, on a mountain over 1,500m high. The house is located on the top of Hon Ba mountain in Suoi Cat commune (Cam Lam district), about 60km from Nha Trang city, Khanh Hoa.

Alexandre Yersin was born on September 22, 1863 in Lavaud, Vaud county, Switzerland. In 1891, he came to Nha Trang to live and work here until his death on March 1, 1943. During his time here, he had many valuable medical works, notably the discovery of the plague.

He was the founder of the Pasteur Institute in Nha Trang (1895), Hanoi (1925, currently the Central Institute of Hygiene and Epidemiology) and Da Lat (1936, currently the Pasteur Da Lat Vaccine Company). Previously, the Pasteur Institute in Saigon was founded by Dr. Albert Calmette in 1891. This is a leading medical and scientific unit in research on disease prevention, epidemiology...

The house was built by Dr. Yersin around 1914 after surveying Hon Ba peak to study the terrain for growing medicinal herbs. The house was then abandoned for many years, and was restored by the government in 2004. On March 20, 2023, this place was recognized as a National Historical Site. In front of the house, a bust of Dr. Alexandre Yersin was erected by the Dr. Yersin Admiration Association in October 2023.
