Joining the jubilant atmosphere towards the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day, the Railway industry has organized many meaningful activities on the train and at the station with the aim of bringing new and meaningful experiences to passengers traveling by train on this occasion.

Vietnam Railways Corporation will organize a pair of trains named "Reunification Train" specially designed, bearing the mark of the historical event. On the evening of April 29, train SE1 will depart from Hanoi station and SE4 from Saigon station; the two trains will meet at 12 noon on April 30 at Da Nang station. At the farewell ceremony on the evening of April 29, Vietnam Railways, in coordination with partners, prepared a number of surprise gifts for passengers on these two trains.

This is not just a normal train trip but a journey to look back at history, helping us understand and appreciate the value of peace today.

On the Hanoi - Hai Phong route, in addition to 4 pairs of trains running daily, there will be additional trains LP10, HP4 departing from Hai Phong station, HD2 departing from Hai Duong station from May 2 to 4.
