The above information is included in the land acquisition notice of the People's Committee of Van Ninh district that has just been issued. Accordingly, in the 235 ha of land area expected to be acquired, there are 2,615 plots of land; there are 2,217 cases affected by the project.

The land acquisition progress is expected to be after 90 days for agricultural land, 180 days for non-agricultural land from the date of issuance of the notice. It is expected that people will be relocated from the land acquisition area in the first phase in June, and the second phase in October.

The new high-end urban area Co Ma is located in Van Phuoc commune, Van Ninh district - in the North of Van Phong Economic Zone; population size is about 9,700 people. In December 2024, Khanh Hoa province selected Song Han Sun Company Limited (under Sun Group) as the investor for the project.

This urban area has a total investment of nearly 6,000 billion VND. Of which, the project implementation cost is more than 5,314 billion VND; compensation and resettlement support costs are more than 655 billion VND.

The project has an expected 171 low-rise townhouses; about 150 villas; land fund for social housing development is about 0.88 ha, meeting 158 apartments. As for the subdivided land, the number of lots will be specifically determined in the detailed construction planning (scale 1/500) of the project.

The project's objective is to invest in the construction of a complete and synchronous new urban area including technical infrastructure; commercial housing, residential land; service works, resort tourism, accommodation facilities... The project will also use local hot mineral water to develop tourism products to serve the needs of residents and tourists.

Van Phong Economic Zone is about 150,000 hectares wide, of which more than half is water surface area, the rest is mainland and islands. The entire area is divided into 19 sub-zones, one of the three key economic zones of Khanh Hoa province, aiming to develop seaports, logistics services, urban areas, resort services...

In particular, the above project is located in the Co Ma - Tu Bong tourist urban area (sub-zone 8) with a total area of ​​nearly 15,000 hectares.
