 Connecting to expand the customer market

At the workshop, Anex Vietnam Company briefly introduced the strengths and typical products of Khanh Hoa tourism. Nearly 30 hotels and resorts in Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa and some resorts in Phan Thiet and Phu Quoc directly introduced their unique products and services to 150 leading sales agents from Kazakhstan and CIS countries. Thereby, enhancing product recognition and optimizing sales efficiency for the 2024 - 2025 tourist season and the following years. Previously, travel agents also spent time surveying resorts in Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa, taking tours to visit Nha Trang Bay, visiting famous tourist attractions in Nha Trang such as: Ponagar Tower, Long Son Pagoda, Oceanographic Museum... "This is the second consecutive year that Anex Vietnam Company has organized the workshop "Anex Tropical Sense Workshop in Vietnam". We hope this activity will become an annual destination promotion event, contributing to strongly promoting the image of Vietnamese tourism, building a sustainable destination for the tourism market of Kazakhstan and CIS countries", Mr. Nguyen Duc Tan - General Director of Anex Vietnam expressed.

The number of Kazakhstani tourists coming to Khanh Hoa is increasing.

Travel agents from Kazakhstan and CIS countries have learned about and highly appreciated Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa tourism products, especially resorts with accompanying entertainment services. “Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa tourism products are similar to those in Thailand, however, the cuisine here is more diverse. The prices of tourism services in Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa in particular, and Vietnam in general, are also relatively cheap, suitable for the spending level of Kazakhstani tourists”, said Mr. Alex Maximov - representative of Denix Tour Travel Company (Turan city, Kazakhstan). Similarly, Ms. Itimgenova Saule - Deputy Marketing Director of Sunny Travel (from Almaty, Kazakhstan) said that direct flights from Kazakhstan to Khanh Hoa have made it easier for Kazakhstani tourists to travel in Vietnam. The quality of tourism services in Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa is very good. Hotels and resorts located near the sea in Bai Dai area have many amenities such as: water parks, children's play areas, outdoor cinemas... which are very suitable for family groups.

Attending the "Anex Tropical Sense Workshop in Vietnam 2024", representatives of famous hotels and resorts in Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa actively sought cooperation opportunities to attract tourists from Kazakhstan and neighboring countries. Mr. Nguyen Quoc Vinh - Marketing Director of Duyen Ha Cam Ranh resort assessed: "The tourist market from CIS countries is very potential and has been developing well in the past 2 years. This workshop has created an opportunity for hotels and resorts in Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa to exchange with partners in Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan... We hope that after this time, we will attract a better number of guests from Kazakhstan in particular and CIS countries in general".

The potential is still huge

The tourist market of CIS countries (mainly Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan...) has been developing well recently. In the first 9 months of 2024, Khanh Hoa welcomed nearly 90,000 visitors from Kazakhstan and 17,000 visitors from Uzbekistan. Currently, there are 14 flights from Kazakhstan to Cam Ranh per week, and 2 flights from Uzbekistan. In the near future, airlines will increase flights from Kazakhstan to Cam Ranh to 16 flights per week.

Referring to the attraction of Khanh Hoa tourism, Mr. Rashad Bunyadov - General Director of Anex Kazakhstan Company said that Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa tourism has very good infrastructure, with more and more 4-5 star hotels and resorts. In particular, the "All-Inclusive" service model has developed very strongly in the province in particular and Vietnam in general. This type of resort tourism is very suitable for the preferences of Kazakhstani tourists. "Our goal is to strive to make Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa tourism in particular and Vietnam in general a top destination for Kazakhstani tourists. Everything is going quite well... However, currently, global air transport costs are very high, so we have to calculate and balance costs, reduce airfares to attract more tourists. From there, increase the competitiveness of Vietnam's destination with other destinations", Mr. Rashad Bunyadov shared. Talking to Khanh Hoa Newspaper reporter, Mr. Cung Quynh Anh - Deputy Director of the Department of Tourism highly appreciated the significance of the workshop "Anex Tropical Sense Workshop in Vietnam": The potential of the Kazakhstan and CIS countries' tourist markets is still very large. After this event, the number of tourists from these countries will certainly continue to increase. Notably, on this trip, in addition to travel agents from Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan (which have direct flights to Cam Ranh), there were also 15 travel agents from Kyrgyzstan. Currently, there is only a direct flight from Kyrgyzstan to Phu Quoc. I hope that Anex Vietnam Company will coordinate with partners to soon organize charter flights from Kyrgyzstan to Khanh Hoa.
