Khanh Hoa expected to "pocket" 60,000 billion VND from tourism

In 2025, Khanh Hoa tourism aims to welcome 11.8 million visitors, including about 5.2 million international visitors, 6.6 million domestic visitors, and tourism revenue of 60,000 billion VND.

That is the ambitious plan proposed by Mr. Phan Dinh Phung - Deputy Director of Khanh Hoa Provincial Department of Tourism at a recent conference to meet tourism businesses.

Khanh Hoa, including Nha Trang city, is known as one of the famous beach tourism destinations not only in Vietnam but also internationally, with beautiful beaches, pleasant climate and rich entertainment and resort activities. This prominence has contributed to creating sustainable attraction for local tourism. In 2024, Khanh Hoa welcomed more than 10.6 million visitors, an increase of 45.5% compared to 2023.

The number of international visitors to Nha Trang far exceeded that of other tourist "paradises" such as Da Nang, Quang Ninh and was 5 times higher than Phu Quoc.

Upgrading existing hotel portfolio and investing in many new key projects in Nha Trang city

As one of the famous sea tourism paradises, Nha Trang owns beaches and islands that have been honored in a series of prestigious world rankings such as: Top 10 most beautiful diving spots in the world 2020, Top 50 most beautiful beaches on the planet and in the list of 29 most charming bays in the world. Thanks to that, this city is always an attractive destination, attracting domestic and foreign tourists.

In recent years, Nha Trang has continuously invested in infrastructure and improved the quality of tourism services to increase its appeal to international tourists. To realize the goal of achieving 60,000 billion VND in revenue from tourism by 2025, Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee has implemented many strategic solutions, from developing specific tourism products to researching sustainable tourism models.

In anticipation of the tourism stimulus policy and the ambition to welcome millions of international and domestic tourists to the province, One Capital Hospitality Joint Stock Company (OCH) has invested a lot of resources in the coastal city of Nha Trang. In 2024, OCH completed the upgrade of Star City Hotel & Condotel Beachfront Nha Trang, bringing a new look to the coastal hotel line. Following the success, in 2025, the company will continue to upgrade part of the 5-star Sunrise Beach & Spa Hotel on the bustling Tran Phu street, and at the same time start implementing the MGallery Ninh Van Bay project in Hon Heo with a scale of 20 hectares of land and 10 hectares of sea.
