Khanh Hoa Province Department of Tourism has just conducted a survey and developed a tour program for cruise ship tourists to Cam Ranh International Port. This tourist destination is located on the border of Ninh Thuan Province (the road to Vinh Hy Bay, about 1 km from National Highway 1A).

“This is a large area with beautiful miniature landscapes and wild natural scenery. The highlight of this tourist destination is a herd of nearly 100 sheep that are carefully cared for so that tourists can come here to relax and take photos. This is a new model that attracts tourists, enriching tourism products in Cam Ranh and is also a stopover for tourists on National Highway 1A”, Mr. Cung Quynh Anh, Deputy Director of Khanh Hoa Province Department of Tourism informed.

Similarly, Natural Paradise Tourist Area has tourism resources, traffic infrastructure connections, signs, food and beverage services, accommodation services and tourist information services... This tourist destination is located between Ninh Thuan and Khanh Hoa provinces. The destination has many services for visitors to visit, explore and experience unique services such as challenging outdoor archery, pedaling ducks on Ngoc stream, watching the sunrise on the hilltop...

“This place is a blend of modern culture and the ancient features of Champa culture. This will be an ideal destination for everyone to enjoy the fresh air, comfortably sightsee and relax”, Mr. Anh believes.

Tu Van Pagoda is also known as Vo Oc Pagoda. This is a famous pagoda in Cam Ranh, with a very unique architecture, built and decorated with snail shells and corals. Therefore, Vo Oc Pagoda is not only a spiritual place, but also attracts many tourists to admire this unique architectural work.



A very typical tourist attraction of Cam Lam land that the survey team built is the ancient mango garden and the shop displaying mango products. Cam Lam district is the mango capital of Khanh Hoa province, with great potential for developing agricultural tourism. There are ancient mango gardens hundreds of years old here.

After surveying the above locations, the survey team agreed to build a Cam Lam - Cam Ranh tour program for international cruise tourists arriving at Tan Cang Cam Ranh within 7 hours. With a number of 30 - 450 guests, tourists will visit and experience at 3 locations in Cam Lam district, Cam Ranh city (Khanh Hoa) and Thuan Bac district (Ninh Thuan).

In addition to surveying to build a tour, in order to improve the quality of destinations serving tourists in general and international cruise tourists in particular, the Department of Tourism of Khanh Hoa province has just proposed the Provincial People's Committee to direct the People's Committee of Cam Ranh city and Cam Lam district to continue to call for, research and develop local tourism products in accordance with the potential for tourism development, the planning orientation of the province for the period 2021 - 2030, with a vision to 2050, gradually forming products and tour programs to serve tourists.

Khanh Hoa Provincial Department of Tourism also requested the Provincial People's Committee to request Tan Cang - Petro Cam Ranh Joint Stock Company to continue working with the Naval Region 4 Command to remove obstacles and support departments, branches, sectors and tourism businesses in the process of organizing delegations and serving international ships to Tan Cang Cam Ranh.

Mr. Le Huu Hoang, Vice Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee, said that the Provincial People's Committee has assigned the Department of Tourism to preside over and coordinate with relevant agencies, units and localities to continue researching and developing more sightseeing tours and tourism products with local and regional identities and characteristics to serve cruise tourists.

According to Mr. Dinh Van Thieu, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, the exploitation and service of tourists at Cam Ranh International Port contributes to creating a new look for Khanh Hoa province in developing tourism in a sustainable and modern direction, aiming to diversify tourism products and services, meeting the travel needs of tourists via cruise ships.

Therefore, Mr. Thieu requested the Naval Region 4 Command to support and facilitate units and businesses in carrying out procedures to welcome international cruise ships and means of transport in entering and leaving the Cam Ranh International Port wharf.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Le Thanh, Director of Khanh Hoa Province Department of Tourism, said that the province has identified cruise ship passengers as one of the key and important sources of visitors for the province's tourism industry in the future.

"Through international cruise ship tours, Khanh Hoa tourism will promote and advertise the local image. In addition, tourism companies have the opportunity to introduce new products and services in the locality and support each other in connecting tourism products," Ms. Thanh shared.
