BIM Land's InterContinental-branded coastal resort is expected to come into operation in the first quarter of 2025, providing additional luxury resort products to Ha Long.

InterContinental Residences Halong Bay was introduced to the market in 2020, attracting attention for its collection of ground-level villas on land directly on the bay, Sky Residences resort apartments on high ground, and a 5-star utility system professionally operated to meet the needs of luxury resorts.

At present, the project is rushing to enter the final stage of completion towards the goal of opening to welcome guests before the peak tourist season of Ha Long 2025. When put into operation, the project is expected to bring a new "international breeze" to city tourism.

InterContinental Residences Halong Bay has an operating capacity of up to 174 hotel rooms, 60 apartments, and 41 villas, meeting the diverse and demanding accommodation needs of wealthy customers. With more than 70 years of development experience, InterContinental has affirmed its position as a brand that guarantees luxury, class, and high-class service standards in the global service and accommodation industry. Therefore, this project not only increases the supply of high-class accommodation but also brings resort and discovery tourism experiences to visitors, a place where luxury and the indigenous culture of the heritage bay land blend harmoniously.

The last "sky villas" Sky Residences in the limited portfolio of InterContinental Residences Halong Bay are also the center of attention in the resort real estate market. These are products for investors with a long-term vision, in the context of the resort real estate market in Quang Ninh lacking high-end supply.

Branded real estate is an affirmation of the living standards of the rich and aims to meet the needs of resorts in tourist centers. A series of coastal resort real estate in major cities such as Monaco, Sydney (Australia), Singapore... are eagerly sought after by the super-rich.

In the first 9 months of 2024, Quang Ninh welcomed 15.6 million visitors, an increase of 20% over the same period in 2023. Total tourism revenue is estimated at VND 36,856 billion, an increase of 39% over the same period in 2023. Of the 15.6 million visitors, there were nearly 2.6 million international tourists, mainly from markets such as: China, Korea, Taiwan, USA, India, France, Australia, UK, Germany, Japan. Ha Long City is still a "magnet" attracting tourists when welcoming 9.2 million visitors (equivalent to nearly 60% of tourists coming to Quang Ninh). Possessing outstanding global values and many domestic and international titles has brought the Ha Long Bay tourism brand closer to international friends, becoming a bright spot on the Asian tourism map.

Developed transport infrastructure and tourism growth figures are the foundation for resort real estate in particular and the Quang Ninh real estate market in general to have the momentum to develop in the coming time.

However, hotels and resorts in Ha Long are still almost lacking international names. The branded real estate segment has not been focused on development to create a unique, distinctive mark that is capable of "retaining" high-end, demanding customers.
