On the morning of August 28, Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee coordinated with the Consulate General of India in Ho Chi Minh City and related units to organize the India - Khanh Hoa Tourism Promotion Conference in 2024.

This event is part of the Hello Vietnam Festival 2024, aiming to exchange ideas to enhance tourism cooperation between India and Khanh Hoa, promoting the opening of a direct flight from Cam Ranh to India
At the conference, Mr. Vineet Jain - founder of Vineet Jain Creations (an Indian company specializing in artistic creation in weddings) - said that with the advantages and potential of sea and island tourism, Nha Trang will be an ideal place to hold a wedding.
"We are aiming for the idea of organizing a wedding tour, with about 400-500 guests. Guests from India, in addition to coming to attend the wedding party, can combine visiting famous tourist attractions in Nha Trang.

In addition, we will also introduce famous actors and singers from Bollywood (India) to participate in tours in Vietnam, thereby promoting the image of Vietnam to tourists" - Mr. Vineet Jain said.
Need a promotion strategy
Mr. Abhineet Shukla - head of the Indian tour operator - said that India has its own unique culture, especially cuisine, so tourists are quite confused about what to eat when coming to Vietnam.

"However, Vietnam has wonderful scenery, is an ideal place to organize large events, many businessmen in India have come here to organize weddings, large events for many days. So Vietnam will definitely be the top choice of Indian people when traveling abroad" - Mr. Shukla shared.
According to Mr. Abhineet Shukla, the current limitations lie in the cultural differences between the two countries, and there are not many direct flights from Vietnam to India.
Therefore, the study and cultural exchange between the two countries needs to be promoted more. There needs to be cooperation and communication promotion between Khanh Hoa and Indian businesses to jointly develop a tourism promotion strategy between the two countries, reaching the right customer segments.
