In the first 8 months of 2024, the total number of visitors served by tourist accommodation establishments reached more than 8 million, an increase of 61.1% over the same period in 2023 (reaching 88.9% of the plan). Of which, international visitors reached more than 3.2 million, 2.6 times higher than the same period, exceeding 6.7% of the plan of 3 million international visitors; domestic visitors reached more than 4.8 million, an increase of 29.1% over the same period (reaching 80% of the plan). Total revenue from tourists is estimated at VND39,513.7 billion, up 65.3% over the same period (reaching 98.5% of the plan).

Experts also commented that a series of prestigious votes and impressive numbers show that Nha Trang is gradually making strong breakthroughs, expecting to "dethrone" the best resort paradise in Asia. Along with that, the flexible opening policy and the strategy of diversifying tourism products of Khanh Hoa province are also factors that help this locality raise its position.

Bali, Phuket and Khanh Hoa, although possessing wonderful natural beauty, still have points that need to be improved or find solutions to enhance the tourism experience, for example, Bali and Phuket, the fact that the attractions are far apart makes it difficult for tourists to travel and explore the entire area.
