Anam Cam Ranh is the only representative in Vietnam to appear in the list of 22 leading hotels in Asia, tourists should stay for their trip next year.

On October 16, Fodor's Travel, a nearly 80-year-old travel guide in the US, announced the 100 Most Incredible Hotels in the World 2025.

The 100 best hotels are divided into 9 regions: Asia, Europe, Africa, Caribbean, Oceania - Pacific, Middle East, Mexico & Central America, South America, US & Canada. Anam Cam Ranh Resort, Khanh Hoa province is the only representative of Vietnam on the list, in the category of "22 best hotels in Asia 2025".

Regarding the 5-star accommodation in Cam Ranh city, Fodor's Travel commented that this is a destination with sophisticated aesthetics, classic French-style architecture mixed with traditional Vietnamese features and panoramic views of the ocean. Here, visitors can find peaceful, pristine beauty with coconut trees, frangipani flowers, white sand beaches. The resort's sunrise view is rated 5 out of 5 stars by guests.

The resort has restaurants serving Vietnamese and international cuisine, suitable for all ages of visitors, along with other amenities such as spa, swimming pool, personalized services according to guests' requests. Room rates in October - November (low tourist season in Cam Ranh) at Anam start from 5 million VND.

Fodor's Travel says choosing hotels for its 2025 list is "extremely difficult" because of the sheer number of hotels around the world.

The United Nations World Tourism Organization estimates there are about 700,000 hotels in the world - from budget to ultra-luxury. Some sources say the number could be closer to a million or more. Whatever the number, it's clear that today's travelers have a lot of options, according to Fodor's Travel.

To come up with the list of the world's 100 hotels, the world's leading travel guide publisher worked with travel journalists and hotel experts to narrow down the field. Each hotel was vetted by experts, who stayed there, experienced every service, and rated every little thing. These 100 hotels represent 0.014% of the best accommodations on the planet. That is why the magazine did not rank them in numerical order, but in alphabetical order to honor all the units named because "being in the top 100 is an achievement".

The selection criteria are based on factors such as sustainable tourism development, promising to bring guests memorable experiences, interesting destinations, beautiful landscapes and architecture, and the best services. The list is considered a suggestion for tourists who want to choose a reputable accommodation facility for their trip next year.

Among the 21 best representatives in Asia 2025, Thailand and Japan each have 5 honored accommodation facilities, followed by India, Indonesia, Mongolia, Maldives, Nepal and Malaysia.
