According to Lonely Planet, Ho Chi Minh City is one of the most prominent destinations in Southeast Asia. According to this travel website, tourists can comfortably enjoy a vacation that is not too expensive, because they can enjoy a hot bowl of pho on the roadside for just a few USD, or immerse themselves in the vibrant life on the streets of Ho Chi Minh City.
One of the first destinations mentioned on Lonely Planet is Nguyen Hue walking street. On weekends, vehicles will not be able to enter Nguyen Hue street, turning this street into a walking and cooling place for pedestrians.
Pedestrians can stroll, enjoy performances by street artists, and sip a cup of coffee at the cafes in this area.

Located in District 10, Ho Thi Ky flower market is also known as the largest fresh flower market in Ho Chi Minh City with operating hours around the clock. In particular, the flower market is even more bustling in the early morning, when new batches of fresh flowers have just arrived.

In addition to the above locations, Lonely Planet also suggests that visitors visit the Cao Dai Holy See on Tran Hung Dao Street, Chantarangsay Pagoda of the Khmer Buddhist community on Hoang Sa Street or stroll around Tao Dan Park, Binh Tay Market, and enjoy the cool green space on Thanh Da "peninsula".
