As a Russian teacher and a long-time resident of Nha Trang, Mr. Anton Mastrenko still maintains the habit of exercising and jogging along the Nha Trang coastal route every day. However, this is the first time he has competed in the Nha Trang night race with a distance of 10km and completed the course with quite a good result, ranking 19th (with a finishing time of 45 minutes and 46 seconds). "The competition was well organized, the running route along the poetic city coast, I am very happy to participate in the competition and have had great experiences", said Mr. Anton Mastrenko.

The first time it was held, the Nha Trang Night Run Sanvinest - Khanh Hoa Newspaper 2024 not only made a good impression on foreign tourists, but also domestic runners highly appreciated the safety and meticulousness in the organization and operation of the tournament. An expert in "hunting" for amateur running tournaments in the southern region, Mr. Le Van Binh (from Dong Nai province), the athlete who won first prize in the men's 5km distance, said: "The first time I came to Nha Trang to participate in a night run, I found the organization of the tournament to be excellent. The work of ensuring security, order and safety on the running track was very well implemented by the police and military forces. All checkpoints were closed, the roads were clear, helping the athletes feel secure when competing. Thank you to the Organizing Committee for bringing a very high-quality tournament," Mr. Binh shared.

For female athlete Nguyen Thi Duyen, although it was quite difficult to travel hundreds of kilometers from Gia Lai to the sea in rainy and windy weather to participate, for her it was worth it. “At first, when I got here, I was a bit nervous, worried that the bad weather would affect the competition. However, when I entered the competition, the weather was quite favorable and the running route was also very beautiful. This is a very meaningful race, spreading the love for the sea and islands, as well as giving many gifts to support charity eye surgeries for people in difficult circumstances,” she shared. At this Nha Trang night race, Ms. Duyen excellently won first prize in the 5km distance with a time of 21 minutes and 25 seconds, an admirable achievement for female amateur runners.
