Using AI to take care of potential customers, real estate brokerage company earns hundreds of millions of USD after one year.

Porta da Frente Christie', a real estate brokerage company that's been around for more than 20 years, introduced eSelf AI to its business about a year ago.

CEO João Cília said that eSelf AI showed good results in its first test. After a year, the company achieved $100 million in sales from leads nurtured by eSelf AI, he said.

The technology is provided by Israeli startup eSelf AI. AI becomes an assistant that can take care of real estate buyers at any time, "even at 3 pm or 3 am". This technology turns LLM (Large Language Model) models into intuitive experiences, similar to how movies help bring information in books to life for viewers to access more easily.

LLM is a language model trained using deep learning techniques on a huge text dataset. These models are capable of generating human-like text and performing various natural language processing tasks.

Users can use eSelf AI to create AI chatbots (software applications that run automated tasks online) for a variety of purposes, from customer care, education to real estate sales.

"More than just an interface that can move and communicate, AI assistants can share videos and images with customers," said Alan Bekker, co-founder and CEO of eSelf AI.

Currently, Porta da Frente Christie's distributes more than 5,000 properties in Portugal. "A broker cannot have all the information of these thousands of properties, but AI can," said CEO João Cília, who assessed that customers have a better service experience.

Specifically, when interacting with AI, customers are asked to provide criteria about the property they want to buy, including the area, budget and number of bedrooms. AI will search for suitable property categories and buyers can view the house, and be provided with detailed information during the virtual tour.

In addition to faster property searches, the AI assistant also supports international customers quickly. Many of the company's buyers from the US and Brazil are supported with quick information, despite the time zone difference.

João Cília believes that AI “agents” are a game changer in the way real estate is distributed. “If applied on a large scale, I believe that AI can replace many real estate agents, contributing to reducing the cost of housing transactions in the future,” he said.
