Early in the morning of the weekend, dozens of guests were present at a coffee shop on Nguyen Trai Street, Nha Trang City (Khanh Hoa). Most tourists were looking for seats at the back of the shop, where they could see the railway. Around 7am-7:30am every day, passenger trains would pass through this bend, the whistles and the rumbles created an interesting atmosphere.

Recently, videos and images recorded at the Nha Trang train-viewing coffee shop have been causing a stir on social networks. This has become an emerging destination, attracting tourists, likened to "a corner of Hanoi in Nha Trang".

"I had only seen the railway coffee street in Hanoi before. I didn't expect that in Nha Trang there would be a lush green coffee shop with such a beautiful view of the railway", a post shared.

This coffee shop is located on the crowded and bustling Nguyen Trai street, but the space inside seems to be separate from the pace of the city. Inside the shop is a large, winding "stream", surrounded by many tropical, lush plants such as ferns, dragon nests, taro leaves... creating a cool atmosphere. The owner hangs on the wall collected photos of Nha Trang past and present.

At the back of the shop - close to the railway, the railings are covered with green trees. The owner built a rough brick wall, both to prevent customers from walking onto the railway tracks, causing insecurity, and to preserve the nostalgic features of the house. On the vacant land opposite, the owner's family grows more green vegetables to create a landscape and harvest them to give to relatives and neighbors.

"I have lived on this street for more than ten years. Every afternoon after work, I often go out to the balcony to drink tea, watch the train pass by, feeling very relaxed. Later, when the house next door was rented out, I decided to rent it back, expand it, renovate it and create a green living space for my children as well as to welcome friends and business partners", said Mr. Le Van Nam (36 years old), owner of the railway cafe.

"One day, I broke down the back wall of the house, revealing the railway scene, where nearly ten trains pass by every day. Unexpectedly, from here, the small cafe that only served family guests attracted tourists from everywhere. Young people came to the cafe to take photos, record videos, and share them on social networks," said Mr. Nam.

From the first and second floors of the cafe, in addition to watching the trains slowly passing by, visitors will also see old walls covered with vines, giving off a nostalgic look.

According to the owner, every day there are 6-7 passenger trains passing by here (usually from 7-7:30 am and 6-8 pm), interspersed with a few freight trains. "This is the train's bypass area, passing through a densely populated area, so the train always has a signal from a distance and moves at a slow speed. However, I still built a brick wall to ensure that tourists sit in a safe area, watch the train run, and cannot step out onto the railway corridor," said Mr. Nam.

The shop attracts visitors of all ages. Recently, many customers have called to reserve a table in advance to get a good spot to watch the train, but Mr. Nam refused. The shop operates in a way that the first customer will choose the spot to avoid misunderstandings.

"I came up with the idea and completed the space of the shop in a year. Taking care of the tropical tree system covering the house is quite hard. The 'tropical forest' always needs enough light and water. However, I am happy because my whole family has a green living space and can share that space with everyone," said Mr. Nam.

Phuc Ny (Nha Trang, Khanh Hoa) - a tourist shared that the shop is not only a place to watch the beautiful railway but also has a fresh space, full of green trees, carefully cared for. "In Nha Trang, it is not easy to find a coffee shop with a special space like this," said Ny.

According to the experience of many tourists, the space of the shop is neatly decorated, simple but cool and comfortable even in the hot season of Nha Trang, thanks to the green tree system covering it.

However, the shop has a small area, open space so there is no air conditioning. The menu of the shop is mainly coffee and fruit juices.
