6 Vingroup brands in the top 100 most valuable brands in Vietnam

Vinhomes, Vinpearl, Vincom Retail, VinFast, Vinschool and Vinmec were honored in the top 100 most valuable and strongest brands in Vietnam in 2024.

The list was announced by global brand valuation company Brand Finance. Of which, Vinhomes - the unit that owns 30 urban areas nationwide - has the highest value in the Vingroup ecosystem, reaching 1.414 billion USD.

Vinpearl ranked 36th, being rated the strongest by Brand Finance in the entire ranking. This brand value increased by 34% to 230 million USD, surpassing many state-owned enterprises and enterprises in the banking and finance sector. With more than 20 years of development, the Vinpearl system has 30 hotels and resorts, in 17 famous tourist destinations in Vietnam. Total capacity is more than 15,900 hotel rooms and villas.

In terms of brand value growth, VinFast (ranked 42) achieved the highest level, increasing 142% to 181 million USD. According to the automaker, this is the result of its market approach strategy, along with the motto "good cars - good prices - good after-sales policies". VinFast is now reaching out to the global market.

Vincom Retail, a retail real estate developer operating and managing 87 shopping malls nationwide, also increased its ranking, from 42nd (last year) to 39th in 2024.

Two brands in the social charity sector, Vinschool (education) and Vinmec (healthcare), also recorded progress. Specifically, Vinschool's brand value increased by 109% to 45 million USD. The increase is equivalent to 20 places, ranking 75th. Vinmec appeared in the list for the first time, at position 97.

The brand valuation ranking was announced by Brand Finance - a UK-based brand valuation consultancy. To vote for the top 100, they used a method of collecting independent evaluation results from financial experts.

According to Vingroup representative, having 6 brands in three fields including technology - industry, trade - services, social charity in the top 100 affirms the strength, sustainable development strategy and position in the fields in which they operate. This contributes to increasing the competitiveness of Vietnamese brands in the region and in the international arena.
