The three-storey project, built on a 160 m2 plot of land in Thu Duc City (HCMC), is home to a family of three generations. The current house of the homeowner is cramped and lacks light, making the three generations feel uncomfortable living together. Therefore, when deciding to build a house on a new plot of land, the homeowner wanted to enjoy a living space with lots of light, ventilation and lots of trees.

Instead of arranging a garage in front of the house, the architect chose to create a large yard with lots of trees so that the homeowner's children can play or organize BBQ parties with family and friends.

The yard is sheltered from the sun and rain by two layers of roofs with different heights, creating gaps for light to enter the yard area for planting trees. The inside of the yard is easily ventilated, creating ventilation and sitting in the yard you can watch the sky without obstructing the view.

The roof is hollowed out in many different positions to bring light into the house, combined with green potted plants to create a soft and cool space on the gray terrazzo wall.

From the outside yard to the living room is separated by a large wooden slat system, flexibly adjusted according to usage needs.

The materials of polished stone, wood, faux concrete paint... are rustic and combined with white painted walls, light, and green trees, helping the space become dynamic and bright.

The dining area is centrally located and extends to the roof.

Her bedroom is on the first floor, adjacent to the common living space, making it convenient for the elderly to move around.

Skylights on different floors, large and small, help bring light and views down to the entrance hall.

Work area at home with two open sides, adding green space to create closeness to nature.

The glass roof has automatic blinds to regulate the light entering the house. This open space is used to connect the views of the floors together, creating closeness between the three generations living together.

The bedrooms all have large windows to help with light and air circulation.
